Giggs and Road Rap
Peckham, South London
Giggs' "Talkin' da Hardest" (2007) set a slow, heavy, menacing London rap style called road rap, separate from grime's fast energy. UK drill grew out of that lane.
Still heard: Slow, low, menacing delivery over dark beats.
