Wiley and Grime
East London producer
Wiley made icy, bare instrumentals like "Eskimo" on cheap software and pirate-radio budgets, and helped build grime, the London sound that UK rap and drill grew up next to.
Still heard: Cold square-wave bass and stripped-back London beats.
