Backwards Tape on "Rain"
John Lennon at home
Lennon threaded a tape of the song backwards on his home machine, loved what he heard, and the Beatles put a reversed vocal on the end of "Rain".
Still heard: Reverse reverbs, swells and backwards vocals in every genre.
