Sound City and the Neve 8028
Van Nuys, California
A rough-looking studio with a Neve 8028 console and a killer drum room. Fleetwood Mac's lineup came together there, and Nirvana tracked Nevermind there in 1991. Dave Grohl bought the console in 2011.
Still heard: That drum room sound is the target for rock drums.
