Madlib
Stones Throw producer
Madlib digs through obscure records and builds loose, dusty loops, like on Madvillainy (2004) with MF DOOM, often recorded fast on simple gear.
Still heard: Crate-dug, warm, imperfect beats: lo-fi's backbone.
