Grand Wizzard Theodore
Inventor of the scratch
As he tells it, he was a young teen playing records in his room when his mother yelled at him to turn it down. He held the record still, moved it back and forth under the needle while she talked, and liked the sound. The scratch was born.
Still heard: Scratched hooks, vinyl FX and every DJ battle.
